...Able to transport people across a continent at highway speeds, powered by sunlight.
Solar car teams are also amazing, developing innovations and technologies that will lead to sustainable transport.
The Bridgestone World Solar Challenge Virtual Awards will recognise the efforts of those who had registered and were preparing to attend the 2021 event. The awards will highlight the outstanding team achievements and overcoming of obstacles in a challenging year. Teams are invited to enter even if the construction phase of the project was unable to be completed!
The 2021 Virtual Awards have been designed to recognise achievement in a number of categories, celebrating the work of all solar car team members.

The 2021 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge Awards are open only to teams who registered for the 2021 event.
The judging panel for the Virtual Awards will consist of the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge Scientific Faculty Members and Event Director Chris Selwood. Additional judges per category are to be announced - stay tuned!

Download the Virtual Awards Categories and Submission Requirements and start planning your entry. Teams may enter as many or as few categories as they desire, and our judges are looking to be inspired, amazed and entertained!
