Media Registration
Welcome to the 2023 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. Register your interest to receive the latest information as it becomes available. There are two tiers of accreditation, outlined below. For media intending to travel with the event, registrations will be reviewed, and you will be notified of your accreditation status. Media accreditation is for media, and is not provided to advertising agencies or representatives, public relations companies, representatives of sponsors, suppliers, teams and drivers (this includes media managers and public relations officers). Please contact the media office if you need further information.
TIER 1 - PROFESSIONAL WORKING MEDIA.
All national and international PROFESSIONAL WORKING MEDIA including journalists, photographers, bloggers, social media influencers, including professional media who are travelling with a participating team are eligible for TIER 1 Media Accreditation.
TIER 1 Media will be assigned a MEDIA EVENT PASS at the media office in Darwin providing you will optimal access to the event.
TIER 2 – TEAM MEDIA
Individuals who are designated a media role within a participating team are to apply for Tier 2 TEAM MEDIA accreditation.
TIER 2 Media will be assigned a TEAM MEDIA PASS at the media office in Darwin providing you with sufficient access to cover your team’s involvement in the event.
THE MEDIA REGISTRATION PROCESS
All PROFESSIONAL WORKING MEDIA and TEAM MEDIA must register on-line and be approved for accreditation by completing the application form below before FRIDAY 6 OCTOBER.
NO ON-SITE MEDIA APPLICATIONS WILL BE TAKEN AT THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE EVENT
Media will be notified of their successful accreditation as applications are processed. All media passes are issued at the media office in Darwin. Please bring photo ID and credentials with you.
