What is the design philosophy behind your solar car?

Our design philosophy is to make a practical solar car without sacrificing aerodynamic efficiency.

What is unique about your solar car?

Eos II is unique because there was very little outsourcing to complete the car. Students at the University of Minnesota made Eos II"s motors, battery, shell, and almost all mechanical systems completely by themselves. They even encapsulated it's solar array.

Why does your team value participating in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge?

Meeting all the other teams and interacting with people who put their college lives into making solar cars... just like we do! We also want to improve upon ourselves to become better and more sustainable every year we come to BWSC.

What is the one thing your team is looking forward to when you visit Australia?

Crossing the finish line in Adelaide and finishing the entire race in a solar car all on it's own power.
