We have participated four times in the past - 2011, 2015, 2017 and 2019.
What is the design philosophy behind your solar car?
With an aero led design our catamaran style solar car encompasses the best of both sleek aerodynamics and stability.
What is unique about your solar car?
We aim to design and manufacture as much as possible in house to ensure parts are manufactured to a high quality. It's also purple!
Why does your team value participating in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge?
We love participating along side some of the best solar car teams from all corners of the earth in some of the most challenging conditions.
What is the one thing your team is looking forward to when you visit Australia?
It's been a long four years since Durham has been to Australia for BWSC so the main thing the team is looking forward to is seeing the car driving in the outback. Also, the weather would be much warmer compared to back home in the UK!
