Team overview

Futurosolare

How many times has your team participated in the event?

This is the first experience at the Bridgestone Word Solar Challenge for the Futurosolare Team.

What is the design philosophy behind your solar car?

The sinuous and powerful lines, inspired by competitions, the unique spirit of the exterior design continue in the passenger compartment, deliberately minimalist, to fully respect the philosophy of essentiality. The tail is high and aerodynamic but with a simple and geometries design. The two-seater passenger compartment, combining sportiness and elegance, but also classic and modern elements, characterize Archimede 2.0.

What is unique about your solar car?

Part artists, part scientists.
Archimede 2.0 has been designed between creativity and new technologies.
Inspired by the past, with an eye to the future, to remember where we were with a vision of future horizons, Archimede 2.0 is a laboratory on wheels for the scientific and personal growth of students and young people who will be called upon to make important decisions in the near future.
The project is carried out with the support of companies that invest in innovation while respecting the environment and believe in the strength of the new generations.

Why does your team value participating in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge?

Overall, the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge presents a unique platform for teams to showcase their technical skills, promote renewable energy solutions, collaborate with other like-minded individuals, and contribute to the global pursuit of sustainable transportation.

What is the one thing your team is looking forward to when you visit Australia?

The Futurosolare team is looking forward to the exciting adventure of the race, with all the challenges and opportunities it offers, such as traversing the desert, managing the climatic variables and navigating challenging terrain.
