How many times has your team participated in the event?
We participated in the competition three times, in 2009, 2013, and 2017, and received The Best Newcomer award in 2009.
What is the design philosophy behind your solar car?
We designed our car with a focus on aerodynamic considerations to make it as efficient as possible. Additionally, we transformed its exterior design into a gold mine by incorporating the color gold, which represents our school and us. Whenever we engage with the car, we always obtain things more valuable than gold.
What is unique about your solar car?
As the 10th car of our team, which was established in 2004, it carries the distinction. During the production and design process, we came together with over 200 graduates for the first time in our history to create the world's best car.
Why does your team value participating in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge?
Participating in this race, which is one of the most challenging journeys in the world and offers a delightful experience, is the main goal of our team. Completing the world's longest highway in Australia with the energy we harness from the sun will enable us to look towards the future with hope.
What is the one thing your team is looking forward to when you visit Australia?
To come to the other side of the world and witness untouched natural beauty, living amidst them, is a dream come true.
