What is unique about your solar car?

SOPHIE 8 went one step further to not only be built to win the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, but also to promote to the public that solar cars can be the future of transportation. Featured with light-weight, SOPHIE 8 will be re-imagined with interior design, appealing to the public.

Why does your team value participating in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge?

Our team value the opportunities to exchange the solar car, smart mobility and green transportation knowledge and skills with all the teams around the world. We also value the opportunity to create a connection and partnership with the other solar car teams and institutes around the world.

What is the one thing your team is looking forward to when you visit Australia?

To explore the outback and night skies.
