88: Kogakuin University Solar Team

We have participated in the event six times.

We aim to create a strong contender in solar car races by focusing on weight reduction, a rollover-resistant body, improved maintainability, and enhanced controllability. We emphasize the importance of stability in achieving performance, while maintaining an aggressive design and approach.

The race will be held in August and solar power generation will decrease. ​The solar panels increased to 6 square meters. Therefore, a catamaran type body was designed to suppress the venturi effect that occurs between multiple wings.

The team aims to develop talent that will understand the essence, learn engineering skills, and contribute to society.

We are looking forward to camping under the beautiful night skies of the Outback.
