    About The Team

Our team has previously participated in 2015 World Solar Challenge in Australia securing 7th place. This year, we return as the only Hungarian team, marking a decade since our first success and aiming for another strong performance.
Our solar car is designed with maximum efficiency in mind, integrating cutting-edge software and hardware architectures. We use cutting-edge engineering solutions, advanced trajectory prediction algorithms, and an aerodynamically refined chassis. Our focus is on lightweight construction, energy efficiency, and reliability to complete the 3,000 km journey across Australia. Every component is chosen to ensure the best balance between speed, endurance, and sustainability. We see our vehicle as a technological demonstrator, proving that solar energy can power long-distance travel while inspiring innovation in renewable energy and green mobility.
Our solar car stands out due to its highly efficient design, real-time monitoring and adaptive strategy adjustments during the race. We have developed custom-built software for trajectory optimization, using real-time weather and energy predictions. The vehicle is engineered with a meticulously optimized aerodynamics package and a lightweight but durable structure. Additionally, our car represents Hungary’s only entry in the competition, making it a symbol of national innovation in renewable energy and sustainable engineering. Our goal is not just to compete but to set a benchmark in efficiency, reliability, and real-world applications of solar-powered mobility.
Participating in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge allows us to push the boundaries of solar energy and automotive innovation. It provides a platform to test our engineering skills against the world's best technical universities while promoting sustainable mobility. The challenge is more than a race – it’s an opportunity to advance solar technology, collaborate with industry leaders, and inspire the next generation of engineers. As Hungary’s sole representative, we aim to showcase our nation’s engineering capabilities on a global stage. This experience also fosters team spirit, problem-solving skills, and real-world engineering applications, preparing us for future technological advancements.
We look forward to the incredible journey across the Australian outback, testing our car in one of the most challenging environments, experiencing the unique landscapes and meeting fellow innovators. Proving our engineering solutions in extreme conditions will make this an unforgettable adventure for our entire team.
